ADAS
ADAS calibration (and recalibration) is the precise physical alignment, testing, and electronic aiming of sensors that collect data to inform your vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Some of these features include: Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Monitoring, Autonomous Valet Parking, Night Vision, Autonomous Driving, as some examples. Every year these benefits become a bigger part of the vehicle, and must be recalibrated every time a piece or part of the system is moved, or replaced, without exception.
Windshield Replacement
The most important window on a vehicle is the windshield. The front glass is up to 60% of your vehicle’s structural strength (roof crush and roll over ratings) and part of the safety restraint system (air bag deflection). This makes the use of an AGRSS (Auto Glass Safety Council) certified shop extremely important when replacement of the windshield is required. We are proud to have the only AGRSS Master Certified Tech in Nevada on our team.
No short cuts are taken. All parts surrounding the windshield that must be removed in order to replace the windshield to the AGRSS standard will be done as such. This ensures that proper fit, adhesion, and safety standards are met. In-shop replacement is the preferred method, due to heat and other elements that can affect the adhesives, although we do offer mobile installation if you can’t make it to us.
Urethane Windshield Adhesive
We use chemical cure urethanes that ensure safe drive-away in one hour. Many shops don’t like to have cars that just sit, but to ensure that the adhesive used to bond the windshield to the vehicle is completely dry and safe, cars must be left to sit. If you were to drive away before the one hour cure time was complete and get in an accident, the passenger air bag would blow the windshield out of the vehicle, which is why we insist on a full one hour of wait time before you drive away.
Windshield Rock Chip Repair
For as little as $75, you can have your chip or crack repaired, which is far less expensive than replacing the glass in its entirety. Especially if you have ADAS systems that might need recalibrated. Just call your insurance company to see if your deductible will be waived, then tell them that Team Acme Inc. in Henderson 702-566-8326 will be doing the repair and they will dispatch a free insurance claim to our shop. It doesn’t get any cheaper than free!
Classic Vehicle Glass Cutting
This is a special kind of glass replacement that involves laminated glass. Laminated glass consists of two flat glass pieces that are fit together using a polymer bond. Once bonded, the glass is cut to the proper shape and size to fit a particular application. This includes heavy equipment, box trucks, antique car doors, and flat windshields, or any other vehicles that use flat automotive glass.

Motorhome Window Replacements
Various types of RVs, including motor homes, suffer a great deal of wear and tear from long drives. The glass windows and windshields of these vehicles are frequently damaged by debris that gets kicked up on the highway. Bad weather can also damage them, with debris from thunderstorms or hailstones. The sun can also damage the interiors.
While it’s always best to repair a chip or crack, sometimes it’s just not possible. When the windshield or windows of your motor home need replacement, trust a shop that has a track record of being able to get those large windows back in place. That includes jacking the coach body back into place, after a jack malfunction, or a road complication that caused an unforeseen crack to appear from nowhere.
Side x Side Windshields
Side by sides are one of the new biggest things. And they get faster and more custom every year. If you have a new cage built, or have a fabricator building a windshield frame, we can make a laminated windshield and gasket to fit your newest upgrade. Or if you need a new windshield made because the old one broke, just bring down your frame and drop it off. We have a turn around time of less than 24 hours in most cases.

Any repairs that your vehicle may need for any reason, including auto glass repair, are not covered under a liability only insurance policy.

What windshields do we replace?
Open since 2000, we have put windshields in just about every type of vehicle. From RV’s to Lamborghini’s, if it has a windshield in it, we can replace it and do so to AGRSS standards. We work directly with most of the dealers in the Valley Auto Mall, and they refer customers to us because of our AGRSS certification and our ability to find and repair factory defects if any arise.
