While vehicle wraps are often used as a form of self expression, businesses also use them to advertise their products and services. It’s a passive means of advertisement that is put to work whether you’re driving from job site to job site or are parked outside the deli on your lunch break. Wrapping your truck with an eye-catching design will help create local brand awareness and generate leads.
Whether you’re a plumber, a food truck, carpenter, A/C specialist, electrician, or otherwise, you can benefit from a wrap that advertises your business. If you have more than one vehicle you use, you can wrap each one to create a consistently professional fleet that stays true to your branding.
Team Acme has been wrapping vehicles and fleets in the Henderson and Las Vegas area for over a decade. We’re honored that the police department has chosen us as their shop of choice for wrapping their fleet of service vehicles. So if you’re in need of a professional looking, high quality and low cost vehicle wrap in our area, look no further!
Options
When wrapping your vehicles, you can choose between a full or partial, or elect to use only your side and rear windows. A full body wrap uses your entire vehicle in the design, including the hood, sides, rear, and often the windows of the vehicle. A partial wrap puts the sides and/or rear of the vehicle to good use.
Pre-Install Process
Once we’re familiar with your budget, we can let you know what kind of coverage is your best option. We’ll then take exact measurements of your vehicle so we can custom design the template. Our graphic designer will sit with you to get a better understanding of what you’re looking to do with your wrap and, after this brainstorm session, will work on a few different designs and layouts. If you choose one of the completed designs, we’ll give you one round of changes free to ensure that everything is perfect.
After the design aspect of the process is complete, we’ll print the design in-house and ask you to leave the truck with us for a few days. Please be sure to pre-clean the vehicle’s exterior before you drop it off, as it is important to the install process. The pre-install process gives us enough time to prep the vehicle, adjust final fitment, and make sure you’re getting a quality install.
Once we have the vehicle and are ready to install the wrap, we’ll give it a thorough once over and final clean any surfaces the wrap will come in contact with. This means removing any tar or wax or other residue, which would affect the longevity of the wrap. Sometimes it is necessary to remove certain parts of a vehicle because to ensure the quality of the install.
Installation Process
We use a dry installation technique, using a squeegee to lay the sticker panels along the vehicle, trimming them to match the edges on the design, and heat set the film to ensure that it adheres properly to the edges of the body. This step helps prevent film failure. If there are especially curvy areas on your truck, we’ll use optically clear anchor tape to safeguard against failure.
Once the wrap is installed, we’ll reassemble any parts that were removed during the pre-install stage. We’ll give it a good cleaning and then park it in the sun to allow the wrap to settle. As the film cures, we’ll recheck all areas of the wrap, touchup anything that may have come loose, and once it meets our standards, we’ll call you to come pick it up.
Please note that we’re more than happy to give your truck a second check up a few days after the install, as this is the timeframe where most film failure happens. It’s easily fixed if done immediately.
