With energy prices soaring, window tinting is becoming an inexpensive and popular way to lower the cost. Applying film to the interior side of the glass in your home or building can increase its ability to reject heat up to 84 percent, which can lower energy bills by up to 30 percent. That is why residential and commercial tinting can save you money and keep your house cool.
With a life expectancy of about 10 years, your investment in residential window tinting will pay for itself in no time. With dozens of options available, it’s easy to get the look and performance you desire. Tint film also reduces the amount of UV coming into the room by 99.9 percent, thus preserving flooring, draperies, paintings, pictures, electronics, musical instruments, etc.
We offer many brands, shades, and configurations to ensure that we’re able to have something that matches your vision. Stop by our shop in Henderson to check out our film options and get specs so you can visualize what it will look like and be sure you’re choosing the right one.
We can also provide worksheets to help you calculate your square footage, which will enable us to provide you with an estimated cost. This means you’ll have time to decide if you want to tint all your windows, or if you want to select the ones that affect your comfort most directly. We can also provide you with an in-home consultation for $50, which will be added to your bill when our services are complete.
Keep in mind that you might have several special considerations when dealing with this sort of job. You might have an older home that needs some kind of special attention because of its age.
On the other hand, you might have a newer home that just doesn’t offer you enough privacy all things considered. In either situation, there are several excellent ways to solve this problem so you won’t have to feel like you’re being held back. Take a look at these great options.
While you might have heard about laws regarding window tinting, Nevada only puts limitations on front vehicular windows. Current regulations stipulate that drivers can only have their front windows tinted to where at least 35 percent of natural light still enters the compartment. Homeowners don’t have to worry about these things since the law passes them by in a majority of cases.
Those who own freestanding homes can, therefore, elect to purchase a complete tinting package. The same actually goes for most individuals who live in manufactured homes in the greater Henderson and Las Vegas areas, since state laws stipulate that these kinds of homes essentially constitute trailers more than anything else.
Motor homes and other types of self-propelled RVs may run into a bit more trouble, but this can be solved by simply tinting the front windows to a slightly brighter degree than the back ones.
Commercial property owners in most neighborhoods have no real limitations, which should prove to be excellent news for those who are struggling with getting too much sun coming through the front windows because of the way that their buildings are faced.
When you think about how hot that Nevada sun can be, this should start to look more and more like an excellent option for you. Depending on the type of property you manage, there might be a few extra options for you as well.
Protecting your automotive investment is extremely important, especially for those who live in desert areas. If this sounds like a good idea, then make sure that you take the time to have your garage windows tinted.
Most people don’t have too many windows on a garage or other freestanding structure on their lot, but they let in enough sun to cause at least some measurable amount of damage. Even just one or two viewports can cause issues, so make sure these are tinted over.
While the windows on commercial properties might be physically larger than those on most homes, the process is completely identical. Have a look at everything we do. After seeing the process, it should be obvious just how big of a benefit this can provide to nearly anyone who has to manage a property that faces the hot Nevada sun.
Even though you might think that it only needs to be done at certain times of the year, a tint job is essentially permanent and will certainly outlast the seasons. Sunlight may actually be worse during the winter anyway.
The first thing we’ll need is the measurements of all the windows that we’ll be tinting so we can precut the film we’ll need. Once we have those, we precut the film to within one inch of the required size, which helps prevent dirt and contamination under the film. Exact measurements are required to ensure proper fit. We can either provide you with a worksheet to fill out or can come out and measure it for you during our in-home consultation.
Once we’ve cut the film, we bring it to your location and get started on the job by cleaning the interior windows and removing any debris. If your building uses architectural glass, there will always be some dirt present due to the glazing style of the glass.
We then prepare the window and the film by spraying both with a special solution containing water, soap, and alcohol. Once both are sprayed, we place the film on the glass and squeegee out the excess solution. We then adjust the fit and trim any excess film, squeegeeing it one last time to ensure that all excess solution is removed.
It will be approximately 30 days before the solution between the film and the glass dissipates completely. Never clean the film with an ammonia-based cleaner. Ammonia-free glass cleaners only!
We offer a one-year warranty that includes edge or film failure of any kind due to film defects, or installation error. However, it does not include scratches from daily use, or damage inflicted directly on the tinted surface.
After our one year warranty expires, the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty goes into effect. For details, please see the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranties on window tinting services are non-transferable. Similar plans are available for those who also have automotive work done.
