Reflective Vinyl Wrap For Emergency Vehicles

Teran Marsell | Published on June 15th, 2021
Reflective Vinyl Wrap For Emergency Vehicles
When it comes to emergency vehicles responding to calls, visibility is everything. You want to make sure that trucks, ambulances and all other types of automobiles that your department uses are as visible as possible. Unfortunately, only so much can be done with appliques, stickers and paint. That's precisely why so many departments have now started to turn instead to reflective vinyl wraps. These offer all of the benefits that other graphic vinyl wraps do along with the added benefit of featuring an extra degree of safety in the form of reflective coatings.  Reflective Vinyl Wrap In theory, you could make a vinyl wrap offer drivers any sort of features that you'd want to. Motorists could travel around with advertising graphics in this way, or they could cover their sports cars in something classy. By applying this same technology to the first-responder market, you may be able to potentially increase the amount of visibility of a particular vehicle. The Importance Of Reflective Fleet Graphics For Emergency Vehicles Other motorists on the road might not be able to see emergency vehicles until they're right on top of them, which could cause serious problems up to and including accidents. That's why it's important to have at least...

What to do When your Window Tint Starts Peeling

Teran Marsell | Published on June 15th, 2021
What to do When your Window Tint Starts Peeling
Window tints aren’t immune to the effects of sun exposure. After years of exposure, the adhesive that binds the tints to the window glass starts to break down, causing the film to detach slightly at the edges. Unfortunately, in some cases it doesn't take years of exposure. Some installers have used poorer quality tints, which in turn have dramatically increased the chances of something going wrong over the life of the tinting material. If your window tints are starting to peel, it could be because of a poor installation job, too. A poor installation could lead to the formation of bubbles in the window tints, which can cause peeling if ruptured. Poor quality materials are a major issue as well, especially when sunlight is involved. In the greater Las Vegas metro, heat and ultraviolet light can cause some types of window tints to peel. Whichever category your vehicle tints fall under, it’s recommended to get them replaced before the adhesive hardens over time, becoming difficult to remove. Once the tinting sheets have been removed, our specialists shouldn't have any difficultly replacing them with something that meets or exceeded all of the relevant industry standards involved. Getting Your Window Tints Removed and Replaced At Team...

Front Windshield Replacement for Classic Cars In Henderson

Teran Marsell | Published on June 14th, 2021
Front Windshield Replacement for Classic Cars In Henderson
Classic cars are treated like beloved children by many collectors and enthusiasts, so you might be surprised to learn that people have to replace the windshields on them. Eventually, all glass will wear out, but car club members often take extra care to keep the panes in excellent shape for as long as possible. There's always the possibility that an accident could happen, though, which would need very cautious repair work to be done to ensure that the new glass has the aesthetics of an original windshield. Occasionally, someone might locate a vintage car sitting in storage somewhere. These are often referred to as barn finds, and they'll sometimes require quite a bit of work to restore them to a condition where they could be driven again. Repairing Or Replacing The Windshield On A Vintage Car Due to improvements in highway safety regulations, the type of glass used on automobiles has changed quite a bit since many of these classic vehicles first came on the road. That means some people might be concerned that their cars can't mount modern windshields. They're simply very different from what was initially used.  However, Team Acme will work to cut modern glass to an optically pure level so...

Can A Clear Coat Be Applied On Top of A Vinyl Wrap?
Whether or not you should clear coat your vinyl wrap has always been a major point of contention. Those who drive higher-end vehicles want to be sure that their cars stay looking good as long as possible.  The good news is that many motorists have actually turned to a vinyl wrap to protect paint material. Then you might not even have to consider the discussion. Your existing vinyl wrap may be enough to handle the task for you. Matte Black Wraps For Audi

Teran Marsell | Published on June 9th, 2021
Matte Black Wraps For Audi
Over the years, Audi has come out with a large number of different colors that they've shipped their cars in. Almost all of these, however, have been glossy hues that are designed to sparkle when they catch the light. Some motorists may want a matte finish, but you usually can't have this on an Audi vehicle. That is, of course, unless you opt for a vinyl wrap. Since Team Acme specializes in offering vinyl wrap coverings for consumer automobiles, our crews can add a matte black finish to an otherwise clean Audi without too much difficulty. This is a great way to change the color of your car to something that you'd often find difficult to get from the factory. Perhaps more importantly, though, it's a rare opportunity to protect your vehicle from the elements. Advantages Of Matte Black Wraps When road debris or the infamous elements in the greater Las Vegas area damage a vinyl wrap, it doesn't normally puncture deep enough to impact the underlying paint scheme. That means you could easily have your vehicle's vinyl wrap removed.  While it'll have the original gloss finish and not the matte one you had wanted to begin with, you won't have any real damage...

Best Window Tints To Reduce Glare

Teran Marsell | Published on June 8th, 2021
Best Window Tints To Reduce Glare
Car clubs used to promote various types of metallic tins to reduce glare from the sun and oncoming traffic. While that sounds like a great idea, it doesn't play well with cellular phones or GPS receivers. More startling is the fact that there are actually several better technologies out there that can actually block out more sunlight than these can. Assuming that you'd actually like the FM radio attached to your car's stereo to work while you're blocking out the amount of glare you're getting, you're going to want to work with some kind of carbon tinting. At Team Acme, we've always recommended SunTek CXP for higher-end applications. Best UV Protection Window Tint For High-End Vehicles Reducing glare is especially important on any motor vehicle that has a wider windshield. Carbon nano fiber has been called the next generation of window film. It offers an enhanced degree of performance for many applications.  Since it doesn't use a metal-based coating, it won't interfere with any electronics or fade away over time. It's not reflective either, so it won't contribute to any inside glare while it helps to stop outside sources. Motorists will certainly love the high level of rejection that it offers in terms of...

Windshield Replacement For Exotic And Sports Cars

Teran Marsell | Published on June 8th, 2021
Windshield Replacement For Exotic And Sports Cars
When it comes to replacing the automotive glass on any high-end vehicle, you don't want to trust your car to just anybody. This is way too sensitive of a situation to simply hire the first place you can find to do the work. Taking Care Of Sports Cars Overall, sports cars, in general, take more TLC than almost any other kind of vehicle. Some people have compared them to taking care of a needy individual, but the effort is worth it. Motorists who drive higher-end Chevrolet or more vintage Pontiac automobiles know what it takes to keep the glass on them looking good. While domestic sports cars are gorgeous, it's owners of super exotic vehicles that might be the most concerned. Exotic Cars Luxury sports roadsters like the Maserati Quattroporte or many models of Aston-Martin and Alfa Romeo have special rounded glass that you wouldn't normally find on a regular production automobile. With Ferrari's introduction of the F8 Spider, this kind of glass has become increasingly important and it's likely that other brands will move to it.  There are going to be some other changes in the industry as well. Lotus is moving away from the Evora, Exige, and Elise models. Collectors will probably gravitate toward...

Gloss Vinyl Wraps For Sports Cars

Teran Marsell | Published on March 25th, 2021
While there's been a trend toward matte finishes in recent years, gloss paint jobs are still the most popular. They're also what most automakers tend to ship their cars with. As a result, those who opt to get gloss vinyl wraps for sports cars are usually able to stay on trend just by getting their car decked out in one of a few primary colors. This makes it extremely easy for motorists to keep their vehicles looking great with extra protection film. Usually, those who drive sports cars have put a healthy amount of money into their rides, and this is a great opportunity to prevent having to sink some more into it. You can get high gloss that lasts for a long time. Vinyl Vehicle Wraps For High-Performance Automobiles The paint scheme on most sports cars is a gloss finish that's topped off with some sort of polyurethane coating that gives it a glass-like sheen. Some automakers enhance the exteriors of their vehicles in a slightly different way, but in general, the outcome is the same. That's why scratches are so painfully obvious on nicer cars. The sheen of the uppermost finish tends to be reflective, and any interruption to this reflection...

Matte Grey Wraps For Mercedes

Teran Marsell | Published on March 25th, 2021
While Mercedes' design engineers are certainly known for their sense of style, they're not always able to keep up with every trend that's come down the pipeline. Matte grey paint has gone into fashion in a big way, and many people are looking for this particular color on their cars in spite of the fact that it's not a current stock Mercedes production color. That hasn't swayed those who want their vehicles done this way, and many are not starting to turn to vehicle wraps instead. Motorists who drive custom Mercedes-Benz badged vehicles have a tendency to showcase a certain taste for fine automotive design, which has helped to give a big boost to this trend as well. Car Wraps As Alternatives To Matte Gray Paint  It's no secret that matte grey paint is considered really trendy right now. After years of people going out of their way to make their cars look as glossy as possible, the exact opposite is quickly becoming true. Drivers instead have vehicle paint jobs that look anything but flashy, as ironic as that might sound. However, that's exactly why these are flashy. They turn heads because they look so different, but there's no reason that you have to...
