With a lust for learning, I love getting involved in all the various aspects of my business. I’m always jumping into projects anytime the guys need me – and often when they don’t. If I had a personal quote, it would probably be “You can’t learn in an office.”
My hand-picked crew really makes Team Acme a force in the market. We do what most other companies can’t and have the experience and history to best any problem. We’re always up for a challenge.
I’m the only AGRSS Master Certified Auto Glass Technician in the state of Nevada; I finished fourth place in the 2008 Windshield Olympics and tied with the Windshield Olympic winner in 2007.
I started out working as a machinist at Marsell Motors in Cortez, Colorado and was mostly put to work machining engine parts and rebuilding motors from 1992-95/1996-98. A family business, we prided ourselves on our commitment to customer service.
In 1995, I went to Mesa Community College and worked in a carpenters union building the Diamond Back Stadium in Phoenix. From 1998 to 2000, I worked as a service writer for a Chrysler Dealership in Las Vegas and became the youngest Diamond certified writer in Las Vegas at that time.
I started Team Acme Inc. in 2000, offering mobile auto glass services with a huge focus on dealers and fleets. The first shop opened in 2002 at Hot Rod Hill in Henderson. With that lust for learning that is my calling, we learned how to tint windows in order to utilize all the space within our facility.
In 2003, we partnered with a sign shop on the west side of town and learned a lot about wraps and graphics. In 2005, we doubled shop space and brought graphics into the mix at Hot Rod Hill.
We’ve always been pretty versatile and our ability to adapt to changes in the market and incorporate new services into our offers has allowed us to grow and learn even through the recession. By 2013, we had grown so much that we needed more space, so we moved to a new location – Gibson Street frontage, less than a mile from the Valley Auto Mall – and more than tripled our square footage.
Now our customer waiting room features WiFi, TV, a water cooler, and (of course) tinted windows. With a huge print room, we’ve got five separate offices for growth, a reception area with laminate wood floors, and a shop space separated into sections for tint, glass, and graphics work.
We’re committed to quality customer service and superior work and my hope is that Team Acme Inc., my team, and I are able to continue growing and learning so we can better serve our customers.
With an “I know I can wrap it” attitude, Geddy is one of the most skilled installers in the valley. He has a real love for vehicles and mechanical operations. He enjoys building, tuning, and racing cars and street bikes. It is this passion and experience that has given him the ability to discover how things work and an elevated approach to solving complicated problems, which is especially helpful when we need to break down and reassemble a vehicle so we can wrap it properly. His great attitude and attention to detail truly make him asset to the team.
Installing wraps and graphics since 2007, William loves turning his projects into works of art. He has the ability to take the ho-hum through a complete visual transformation and really turn it into something that catches the eye. He says he doesn’t dread coming into work in the morning and loves the people he works with. He’s definitely our highest-energy employee – we have to hide the sugar.
With a bring it on attitude, William’s never afraid of a job or the time frame for its completion. He’s worked around the clock many times just to get a project done for a customer. He is a driving force in his department.
Lennon began his career as a traditional artist and eventually migrated into computer graphics in the 90’s. His knowledge of design and artistic skills have allowed him to help many businesses achieve success in their various fields. His daily responsibilities include graphic design, print and plot equipment, IT, and networking for our entire shop.
Every wrap we do has to be something that stands out. We love when our wraps generate attention for our customers, and it’s really Lennon’s graphics work that makes this happen.
Scott moved from SoCal to Las Vegas in 1999. With several small businesses of his own under his belt, he knows how to work with companies from an owner’s perspective. He loves sales, getting to know his customers, building relationships, and has been changing the graphics market for the better since 2007. Always happy, easy to talk to, and respectful of our customers, Scott works for each customer as if they were the only one. He’s a loyal guy and returns customers are a daily occurrence thanks to him.
An automotive machine shop owner from 1979 to 2001, this guy knows his business and his customers. Doyle handles all of the day-to-day functions from phones, checks, and receivables to invoicing, scheduling, dispatching, quoting, and more. Everyone in the shop loves and respects him and he’s the most important person on our team. If we’re honest, he’s the one handling what needs to get done with a smile and a joke.
During his high school years, Stephen started working in the auto repair industry in Tucson, AZ. In 2007, he started replacing auto glass and has been hooked ever since. Vehicles change every year and he never gets bored with the challenge of figuring out how to remove glass and body parts in order to change the glass safely and effectively. Stephen is our Christian light, always smiling, respectful, and a real joy to be around. From our dealers to our retail customers, no one ever makes negative comments about this guy.
With 100% of his skills learned in-house, Cody has self-mastered the art of installing window tint and paint protection film. If a job doesn’t meet his high standards, it’s ripped off and redone before the customer ever receives the vehicle. This is the work ethic and personality that keeps our customers coming back and our window tint referrals coming through the door.
We even get referrals from other tint shops that are having difficulty with an extremely difficult vehicle because they know that Cody will make sure the customer is taken care of. Open relationships with other shops give us an advantage over the trash talk that is so industry-wide. Can’t we all just get along? 😉
All of us here at Team Acme are passionate about what we do and the people we do it with. We all value quality, respect, and a job well done. A sense of humor is never a bad thing either. There’s nothing like seeing the smile on our customers’ faces when we show them the work we’ve done.
If you’re looking to wrap your vehicle, tint your windows, design and print any number of items, or get your auto glass replaced or fixed, it doesn’t get any better than Team Acme in Henderson.
