Instead of putting a chokehold on your budget with a 30-second TV commercial or wasting money on a billboard you’ll only own for a month, vehicle wraps are an advertising solution that will last for years – and they’re only a fraction of the cost.
They’re also a great way to redesign your personal vehicle without the permanence of paint or a lower resale value.
Stage 1: Design
Whether you want an eye-catching design with detailed messaging about your business or another avenue of self-expression, our design team is here to help you create the perfect look. We’ll be happy to look at any images you may already have in mind and figure out how to make them work on your vehicle. We’re also happy to take the lead and come up with a few different design ideas for you to choose from. If you choose one of our designs, we’ll even do one set of edits for free in case there a few things you’d like to alter.
How long this process takes depends on the complexity of the design and the style of your vehicle anhttp://www.teamacme.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpd we understand that not everyone enjoys it the way we do, so we’ll do our best to make it as quick and efficient as possible! A small deposit is required before the design process begins.
Stage 2: Proof
Once we’ve agreed on a final design, we’ll create a proof of the wrap. This means we’ll determine the exact measurements of your vehicle and create a model of what the wrap will actually look like on your vehicle. We ask that you examine this carefully in case there are any other changes you want to make. Once the proof is finalized, there’s no going back! Any changes you have after we go to print will delay turnaround and increase your cost.
Stage 3: Print
Once you’ve approved the proof, we’ll print the finished design on 48 to 60 inch wide vinyl sheets using our large format, solvent based printer, which will produce a very high resolution image. If you’re getting a full vehicle wrap, we’ll usually print multiple panels and piece them together during the installation.
Once the panels are printed, we let them sit for a few hours to gas out. This is very important because it prevents the vinyl from bubbling or wrinkling during the install.
Stage 4: Install
We always ask that our customers clean their vehicle thoroughly before bringing it in to get wrapped so that we can achieve the smoothest application possible. Excess wax, tar splashes, or any other imperfections can affect the longevity of your wrap, which is why we’ll still do a once over to make sure it’s as clean as it can possibly be. And then it’s time to get to work!
Installation is done dry, which means we lay the sticker panels along the vehicle, double checking for a perfect fit, and applying it with a squeegee. Then we trim the panels at the edges of the body specified in the design and heat set the material to ensure that it’s properly anchored to the body edges. If your vehicle has any extremely curved areas, we’ll also use an optically clear anchor tape to help prevent wrap failure.
If any parts were removed from the vehicle for the install, we’ll reassemble them, clean up the vehicle, and park it in the sun to let the wrap set. After a few hours, we’ll recheck all areas of the wrap, touchup any loose areas if they exist, and then your vehicle is ready for pickup!
