Tint Regulation in the United States
There are tint regulations in the United States of America and they vary depending on the state you are in. In Nevada, front door car windows are regulated to 35% light transmittance. This means at least 35% of sunlight must be able to enter the vehicle through the windows with the tint applied.
Look up the tint laws for your state before you choose your shade. If the window tint on your car is too dark, then you could definitely get a ticket.
